Raiden: Novelty, Kev, nothing more. What excites people is seeing regular folks doing superhuman things. If there's no training, no sacrifice beyond, \"I paid for the operation\"... That'll get real old, real quick.
Raiden: Yeah. I was mainly working for the PLA (Paradise Lost Army), but Boris was a huge help. His Russian military connections paid off big time. All his covert-op experience, too. He wasn't working pro bono, of course, but he went above and beyond the call. The Patriots were a threat to everyone, not just America. He got that.
Doktor: Of course, there is the rather, ah, dramatic change in appearance to consider. Civilian life as a cyborg can be... well, complicated. As I'm sure you can attest. But for the field: Man and metal, capability far beyond the natural human body... it has a functional beauty.
Below is the disposition of the Arkron Crusade, launched into the Ghoul Stars during the closing years of the 38th Millennium. A typical crusade comprised of Firstborn Black Templars, it numbered hundreds of battle-brothers, war machines and support elements, allowing it to campaign far beyond the Imperium's borders.
In assuming the mantle of the Emperor's Champion, Sigismund delivered the ultimate judgement on those who had betrayed the Master of Mankind, executing them by his own hand. It is the zeal to prosecute such crimes that drives the Black Templars in their crusades across the galaxy and beyond the borders of the Imperium, lending them the strength to face any foe.
When the Autobot-Decepticon civil war had yet to expand beyond Cybertron, Optimus had encountered a Decepticon weapon that weakened the gravitational pull within a confined area. The weapon being unreliable, Optimus had always assumed the Decepticons would not bother attempting to use it again.
After the rise of the Decepticons and the death of the merciless Zeta Prime, he became the Prime, and entered what would become a millions-of-years-long war of attrition with the Decepticons, which would lead to the death of Cybertron and the spreading of the Cybertronian civil war far beyond their homeworld in a push for resources. With the end of the war and the emptying of the Matrix of Leadership to restart Vector Sigma and rebirth Cybertron, he found himself rejected by the returning civilian population, and - secretly gladly - abdicated his rank and returned to his original name of Orion Pax as he travelled through the galaxy.
On another plane of existence, Optimus travelled the path to the Matrix, guided by the voice of his old mentor Alpha Trion. The path led him to Grimlock, who had also been killed by Megatron; Prime rescued Grimlock from Kremzeek, the demonic eater of souls. At the gateway to the great beyond, they encountered Bludgeon, who announced that only those who bore the \"key to Vector Stigmata\" may pass through. Prime realized that the wounds on his body form the key, but the angel insisted that these would grant Prime access. Prime took Grimlock's sword and bestowed the key on Grimlock, allowing the former Autobot King to ascend into the Matrix while Prime stayed behind. Transformers vs. G.I. Joe #12
The presence of Prime and the others in Karza's Microspace home threatened to destabilize the subatomic realm entirely, however, and when the Micronauts attacked Prime was able to break free and, despite the loss of his ability to transform, seized Karza as his captor tried to escape; the pair tumbled back into Prime's native dimension and landed near Cobra's headquarters. With Baron Karza's help, the villains quickly overpowered Prime, captured the Autobot leader, and reprogrammed him into a loyal Cobra soldier. When Rom and Snake-Eyes arrived, Cobra unleashed their new weapon on the two heroes. Aw Yeah Revolution! #2 Using his forcefield, Rom grabbed Optimus and hurled him into space beyond Cobra's control; not long afterwards, Prime returned with Autobot reinforcements to confront Destro, who had since seized the Orbsah Gem. Aw Yeah Revolution! #2

This all-new offer presented the 2019 Second Edition of Eclipse Phase, the SFRPG of transhuman survival from Posthuman Studios. After losing Earth in a war with AIs, transhumanity disperses throughout the Solar System and beyond, struggling to survive. In a typical Eclipse Phase game, characters belong to Firewall, a secret cross-faction organization that protects transhumanity from biowar plagues, self-replicating nanoswarms, nuclear proliferation, terrorists with WMDs, net-breaking computer attacks, rogue AIs, alien encounters, and anything else that could drive an already decimated transhumanity to extinction. Agents may even step through a Pandora Gate, a wormhole to distant stars and the alien secrets beyond. Funded in an April 2017 Kickstarter campaign, Eclipse Phase Second Edition improves the game with faster character creation, streamlined \"resleeving\" (body switching), new skill and gear systems, updated combat and hacking rules, and four sample teams. Most First Edition source material is compatible with the 2019 Second Edition.

Equinox is a fantasy setting from Vagrant Workshop of magic and mysticism in a war-ravaged dark future. Now, a century later, humanity has constructed the great Gateway Station, a giant ring structure that tames the shattered remains of Earth. The Earth Belt is a portal to astral space and the far-flung worlds of the Consortium. Beyond the Belt, Sol is a lawless place, a hive of misfits, lowlifes, refugees, pirates, and mystics. You are one of these restless outcast \"Vagrants\" who seek freedom in the void.
