I am attempting to install 3DS Max 2017 on my computer. This would be a stand alone copy of the software. I am installing from my account on the autodesk website. Once the file is downloaded, everything appears to be going fine, once I reach 8 of 14 in the install process i get a message telling me i am missing a DLL file. At this point I have three options, Abort, retry, ignore. I have tried all of them, the only one that lets me continue is the ignore button. Once i do that, another popup error occurs and tells me that mc3.dll file is missing, then I have only two options, retry & cancel. Retry does nothing, guess which one works?
